The world is your oyster and that makes our best beaches an indulgent dessert!

Here are our top 10 beaches to visit before you die:

1. Whitehaven Beach, Whitsunday Island, Australia

Whitehaven Beach is a pristine, award winning beach on Whitsunday Island, the largest of the 74 islands in the Whitsundays. Whitehaven Beach stretches over seven kilometres and boasts brilliant white silica sand that is among the purest in the world. Sink your feet into the sand and wade into the warm waves that gently lap the shore and you'll soon realise why people come here from all over the world.

2. Bora Bora, Tahiti

Bora Bora is a small South Pacific island northwest of Tahiti in French Polynesia. Surrounded by sand-fringed motus (islets) and a turquoise lagoon protected by a coral reef, it’s known for its scuba diving. It's also a popular luxury resort destination where some guest bungalows are perched over the water on stilts. At the island's center rises Mt. Otemanu, a 727m dormant volcano.

This beach is located on the northeast coast of the island of Providenciales. 4. Oro Bay, Isle of Pines, New Caledonia

Surrounded by sharp rocks, Oro’s natural swimming pool offers an enchanting setting of rare magnificence. The ecosystem of this natural aquarium, with its clear and limpid waters, is exceptionally fragile; it is only right to respect it.
